CAR (Classroom Action Research) is conducted in order to develop the teaching and learning quality. Action Research entails identifying teaching strategies to solve certain practical teaching and learning problems. It means that teaching itself is part of a research. In other words, action research is a kind of teaching in which teaching and research is inseparable.

Action research is a reflective study done by a teacher in a classroom to get a solution to the problem he found. It is done to improve their own learning, and influence the learning of others. These cases come to stand as their own practical theories that the others can learn.

This action research includes preliminary idea, pre-survey, diagnosis, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Action research starts with a preliminary idea as the finding problem faced in a class and then continued by pre-survey and diagnosis. The cycles of action research include planning, implementation, observation and reflection.
